House of Hysteria (HOH) is co-authored with the artists Tina Jenkins and Mark Nader. HOH stages painting in its expanded form to explore the ways that two-dimensional and three-dimensional paintings code space. The project commissions artists to construct painted environments that act as a platform for a curated programme of performances. We commission performances that explore a posthuman narrative and challenge the historically male canon of painting by virally occupying the exhibition environment.
